Tilley Hat Info
So our friends just came to visit from their boat, and as they approached I thought, “My goodness but isn’t Sue just the picture of yachting fashion! Her hat is the key!” Immediately after boarding our boat, she shared with me the specialness of her Tilley Hat which includes in it’s secret pocket on the inside of the crown, a little plastic bag full of tear-off “brag tags” to give to anyone who comments on your hat! (See image). This is a great piece of marketing and of course includes their website www.tilley.com. With all of the fuss about Sue’s hat, our wonderful skipper Victoria tore off her own sun bonnet revealing that it too was a Tilley’s, and added her commendations for the brand. I intend to check out their online offerings as soon as I have internet access again!

Sun Protection Follow Up
Three of us wore the elta MD UV-Sport yesterday and had two fabulous outcomes: 1) no evidence of sun exposure in that none of us burned or tanned, and 2) there was NO stinging of the eyes while snorkeling! Laurel and I both repeated the experiment today and again no stinging! Look for this product at Morpheus soon for your sporting sun protection needs!
