Being a lifelong resident of Sonoma County, she has developed a profound appreciation for the exquisite surroundings and the remarkable individuals who form the vibrant community, making it an exceptional place to call home. Her journey into aesthetic nursing began through a personal experience as a patient, igniting an unyielding interest that she felt compelled to pursue.
In 2008, she obtained her registered nurse certification and dedicated numerous years to caring for patients across various departments in the hospital setting, including med/surg, telemetry, orthopedics, oncology, palliative care, the operating room, and dermatology. In 2019, her path led her into the realm of aesthetics, as she took on a second job at a small aesthetics clinic in Petaluma. However, when the upheavals of 2020 unfolded, she found herself facing the challenges of having two school-aged children transitioning to distance learning. As a result, she had to significantly reduce her work commitments to prioritize her children's educational needs. During this period, she was fortunate to secure a position in aesthetics that allowed her to step away from the hospital environment and dedicate more time to her children.
Embracing the "lock-down" period as an opportunity for personal growth, she made the decision to pursue higher education and returned to school. In March 2022, she successfully obtained her bachelor's degree in nursing, and she is currently on track to graduate with a master's degree in nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in May 2024. This arduous journey will empower her to provide comprehensive care to her patients, encompassing their physical, emotional, and familial well-being. She considers herself incredibly fortunate to be working in a field that she wholeheartedly loves, alongside immensely talented colleagues.
Aesthetics enables Bethany to seamlessly blend the intellect of science with the elegance of art, all while forming meaningful connections and fostering confidence in her patients, thereby making a genuine difference. She firmly believes that aesthetic procedures can and should yield natural-looking outcomes. Her ultimate goal is for her patients to leave her care feeling genuinely heard, respected, and exuding confidence as a result of their transformative experiences.
