PRP/PRF

Before your PRP/PRF Treatment
  • If you develop a fever, cold, cold sore, or flu prior to your treatment, we will need to reschedule.
  • If you will be treated near the lip area and have a history of the Herpes virus, we recommend that you start Valtrex or Acyclovir 2 days prior to treatment.
  • Discontinue the use of anti-inflammatory drugs (steroidal and non-steroidal) such as: Aspirin, Motrin, or any other Ibuprofen drugs 2 weeks prior to your appointment. All other blood thinners should also be discontinued as well: Vitamin E, Vitamin A, Gingko Biloba, Garlic, Flax Oil, Cod Liver Oil, and Essential Fatty Acids. After a CO2 laser treatment, proper post-care is essential to ensure optimal healing, reduce complications, and enhance the results.

Post-Procedure:
1. Keep the Treated Area Clean
  • Clean the area gently: Use a gentle cleanser 24 hrs post treatment to cleanse the skin. Wash the treated skin with lukewarm water and avoid scrubbing. Pat dry with a clean towel after cleansing.…

2. Moisturize the Skin
  • Apply Alastin Skin nectar twice daily after cleansing to promote healing for 2 weeks

3. Sun Protection
  • Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 4-6 weeks
  • Always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher if you must go outside, even on cloudy days. You can start using sunscreen 24hrs after treatment. It must be a mineral only sunscreen, consisting of only zinc oxide and titanium dioxide
  • Wear a wide-brimmed hat or use an umbrella to shield the treated skin from sunlight.

  • Do not pick, peel, or scratch the skin, as this can lead to scarring or infection
  • If you notice any crusting or scabbing, allow it to fall off naturally.
5. Swelling and Redness
  • Swelling and redness are common for a few days after the treatment. Apply vinegar compress for 10-15 minutes to soothe the area if necessary (This only applies to a CO2 deep treatment)
  • Elevate your head while sleeping to reduce swelling

7. Pain and Discomfort
  • Over-the-counter pain relievers like acetaminophen (Tylenol) can help with any discomfort
  • Cool compresses can be applied to relieve inflammation and heat.
8. Healing Process
  • Peeling or flaking of the treated area is expected as the skin heals. It typically begins around 3-5 days post-treatment and can last up to 2 weeks
  • The treated area will appear red for several days to weeks, depending on the depth of the treatment, but this should gradually subside.
9. Avoid Makeup
  • Avoid applying makeup until the skin is fully healed, generally about 7-10 days after the procedure
  • If makeup is allowed, use non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic products.
10. Follow-Up Appointment
  • Attend all follow-up appointments as instructed by your provider to monitor healing and assess your progress
  • Contact your practitioner if you notice signs of infection (increased redness, pus, or severe pain), as timely intervention may be required.
11. Diet and Hydration
  • Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and support the skin’s healing process
  • Eat a healthy diet rich in antioxidants, vitamins (like Vitamin C), and minerals to promote skin repair.
12. Signs of Complications
  • Increased redness, swelling, pain, or a feeling of heat beyond the first few days may be signs of infection or complications
  • Blistering or excessive scarring can also be signs of issues, and you should contact your healthcare provider immediately.

GLP-1 + BPC157

Pre-Treatment Care
GLP-1+BPC157: FDA-approved medication for chronic weight management in adults with:
  • Obesity
  • Weight-related health conditions (e.g., prediabetes, high blood pressure)

It works by mimicking a natural hormone (GLP-1) that helps regulate appetite and blood sugar, allowing you to feel full longer and experience fewer hunger pangs.

GLP-1 + BPC157 supports weight loss in three key ways:
  • ↓ Glucagon release = ↓ Fat storage
  • ↑ Insulin production = ↑ Fat burning
  • Slows stomach emptying = ↑ Feeling of fullness

These lead to improved glucose balance and help your body burn stored fat for energy.

Administration & Results Timeline:
Weekly (Ongoing)
  • Tiny injection under the skin (belly or back of arm) once per week
  • Best done at the same time each week
What to Expect Over Time:
  • Weeks 1: Begin with a low dose to assess tolerance
  • Weeks 3–8+: Dose may be gradually increased based on your comfort and side effects
  • Months 1–6: Gradual and sustained weight loss
The most common side effects are GI-related:
  • Nausea, constipation or diarrhea
  • Fatigue or headache

Most side effects improve over time. If they don’t, contact us – we can help.

Do not start this treatment if you:
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Have low blood sugar or Type 1 diabetes
  • Have a history of:
    – Medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC)
    – Multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome (MEN2)
    – Pancreatitis
    – Allergies to GLP-1 receptor agonists
Important Notes:
  • We do not accept Insurance.
  • Continue to eat balanced meals and stay active— GLP1 + BPC157 is a tool, not a replacement for healthy habits!

GLP-1/GIP

Pre-Treatment Care
GLP-1/GIP: FDA-approved medication for chronic weight management and Type 2 diabetes in adults with:
  • Obesity
  • Weight-related health conditions (e.g., insulin resistance, high blood pressure, prediabetes, PCOS)

This is a dual-action medication that mimics two natural hormones—GLP-1 and GIP—which work together to regulate appetite, blood sugar, and metabolism.

GLP-1/GIP supports weight loss and metabolic health in three key ways:
  • ↓ Appetite and cravings = ↓ Caloric intake
  • ↑ Insulin sensitivity = ↑ Fat burning and glucose control
  • Slows gastric emptying = ↑ Feeling of fullness and reduced hunger

These mechanisms help the body shift from storing fat to burning it for energy, while stabilizing blood sugar levels.

Administration & Results Timeline:
Weekly (Ongoing):
  • Tiny injection under the skin (abdomen, thigh, or back of upper arm) once per week
  • Choose a consistent day and time each week
  • Rotate injection sites weekly
What to Expect Over Time:
  • Week 1: Begin with a low dose to assess tolerance
  • Weeks 4–12+: Dosage gradually increases based on individual response and comfort
  • Months 1–6: Steady, sustainable weight loss and appetite reduction
Common Side Effects (typically mild and temporary):
  • Nausea or upset stomach
  • Diarrhea or constipation
  • Fatigue, dizziness, or headache

Most symptoms lessen as your body adjusts. Let us know if they persist—we can adjust your plan.

Do Not Start GLP-1/GIP If You:
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Have Type 1 diabetes or a history of:
    – Medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC)
    – Multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN2)
    – Pancreatitis
    – Severe gastrointestinal disease
  • Have allergies to GLP-1 or GIP receptor agonists
Important Notes:
  • We do not accept insurance
  • This is a medical tool—not a substitute for healthy habits
  • Continue to eat a balanced diet, stay hydrated, and engage in regular physical activity
